Wedding Video

Hiring a videographer for our wedding was on our "maybe" list for a while.
But we decided it would be nice to look back on the day
and to share a video with friends and family who couldn't make it.
Well, we just received the very short version from our videographer
and now I can't wait for the longer version!
I think we will cherish this and treasure having this footage of our wedding.
You can take a look on youtube here
And thank you to our friends Evan and Jeff, who ended up narrating this short video:)
Happy weekend everyone!

We are alive and well

Hello lovely readers. Sorry for the prolonged silence.
We have been in New York a month now and we are still living out of our suitcases.
We have "moved" four times now and life has been a little hectic and unsettled.
But we are staying positive and enjoying our days in New York before we get back to work.

Silly me forgot my camera cord, so the pictures I have taken since we left the UK
are stuck in my camera until our shipment arrives.
So please bear with me.
As soon as we get settled in, I'll be back to regular blogging.

We *hope* to have a lot to share with you in the next few months.
New jobs, new apartment, and a new adventure in New York.
I'm not going to lie I'm soooo ready to get settled into a new home, especially before the holidays!
I've been compiling a few ideas for our future new place
and I would love to share these with you on the blog as we get settled in.
In the meantime, I will leave you with a few pictures that have caught my eye recently.

Natural wood and white- so fresh and serene
Black and white and a beautiful cane sided chair
Seagrass green walls and a simple yet beautiful home office
Bold wallpaper and a lovely bike
 Love the mixed chairs
Beautiful pink drapes and a black and white dresser
Bold blue farm table with white cafe chairs
Dog wallpapered bathroom. Need I say more?

I promise to be back soon and more regularly!
