We're Back...

...And we're only weeks away from "Life in Oxford" coming to an end.
Still no news for you yet on our next move, but we are working on it - promise.
I contemplated a new blog title over the honeymoon and I didn't love anything that came to mind.
"Life in (tbd)" is always an option, but feels semi-permanent again.

Well, Mr. and Mrs. Smith are refreshed and sun kissed
and feeling very lucky to have been able to escape for 2 weeks.
It may be quite a while before we are ever able to do that again.
Ronda, Spain
 Spain was delightful.
We only had one day of clouds, literally, we went days without seeing a single cloud in the sky.
It was hot but cool and breezy in the shade, and the ocean was so refreshing.
Nerja
We had a great view from our little rental apartment in Nerja.
We enjoyed daily games of beach paddle ball.
Frigiliana
We enjoyed simplistic food done to perfection
Nerja
Gambas a la plancha
Fresh grilled scallops with sea salt.
We visited charming towns in the Andalucian mountains
Frigiliana

We enjoyed the beautiful details
Ronda
We saw Hemingway's favorite Plaza de Toros in Ronda

Enjoyed the beautiful landscape of Spain
Cordoba
Cordoba Cathedral

We saw stunning pieces of history and incredible works of art
Madrid
Stumbled upon a tapas bar with a Vespa on the wall
Madrid
And this guy hanging out
Bunol - Tomatina
And we survived the biggest and craziest tomato fight at the Tomatina Festival in Buñol.

I don't want to overdo it with pictures, as I'm known to do on the blog.
But this is a good sampling of our trip.
I will share more details soon.

Looks like fun. I can say that I don't know too many people who partook in the tomatina festival on their honeymoon!

That last comment was from me - Mandi (no idea why it shows up as unknown)
